Kenya’s ambassador to Pakistan Julius Bitok has urged girls to take their education seriously since it holds the key to their future. He was speaking at Turbo girls when he visited some of the girls sponsored by his Amb. Bitok Foundation which coincided with day of girl child.
He says his foundation sponsors bright secondary students from humble background and also offers scholarships to study with prestigious universities around the world. He urged students to maintain high discipline which shape them to future processionals.
One of the beneficiaries of Amb. Julius Bitok foundation Romana Chepkoech thanked Ambs Bitok for enabling her to continue with her studies. She wants to be a neurosurgeon and hopes the foundation can get more sponsors so that it can assist more needy students who are dropping out of high schools due to lack of school fees.
Benjamin Rop who is a resident of Turbo constituency and a member of board of Amb. Julius Bitok Foundation says the foundation is having an impact in society by supporting students in secondary school and universities in their career progression.
