We want to agree that whoever we vote in must be someone with our interest at heart and those of the affirmative groups.” Boaz limo who is the group chair said.
The youth pointed out lack of proper civic education as the reason why most of the electorate continue voting for the wrong candidates. The caucus leadership said that they are taking the initiative to carry out the voter education among the elderly and youths who make majority of the voters.
NUSA leaders also showed optimism that the caucus will produce the next crop of leadership in the three counties.
“The formation of N.U.S.A is the stepping stone to politics of tomorrow, our time has come, our ideologies, dreams and aspirations are valid.” Said Emmanuel Serem the NUSA inter-County Coordinator.
Serem said the movement is active in the three counties and the current crop of leaders should give them an ear as they are voice of the voiceless.
