“Particularly talking from Eldoret, we are certain that quite a number of drivers have been taking petroleum products, food and the likes to Southern Sudan and its various cities. Most of these drivers are from Eldoret,” he said.
He lamented that most of the South Sudan citizens who reside in Eldoret’s Kapsoya Estate had hopes of going back to their country but they have been shattered by outbreak of another war.

Terer called on the key leaders in South Sudan to solve their differences and direct their followers to ceasefire.
“The two leaders and their supporters should know that South Sudan is bigger than any of them and they should come together and talk to avert further loss of lives,” he added.
He also noted that Kenya should prepare to receive more refugees if the situation in South Sudan continues to deteriorate.
